Hello day eighty three! My workouts at the gym have been feeling really great as of late! Was even joined yesterday by my girlfriend and we had a great time working out our backs too. Man am I really loving deadlifts like crazy now. My abs have been feeling too capable as of late as well, so I decided to punish them extra hard, haha. Gah, I know I’ve said it before, but it really is time for super fat burning mode. I’ve got less than two months left until I go off to Vegas, so I really want to visit them barside pools in prime condition! I think, because of my eating habits and lack of cardio, my body’s just been in muscle building mode. I’m really going to have to push and put it in to fat burning mode, as the body can really only do one or the other efficiently.
Also, I’ve not forgot about that video I’m supposed to put up! It’s just that after having injured my ankle, I’ve lost some steam, but it’s healing nicely.
It’s day seventy eight! And I messed up my ankle pretty bad yesterday! I was just walking to the store to pick up some things and then all of a sudden my left ankle does that stupid ankle roll to the side thing, but into a crack in the sidewalk. Left me on the floor for two minutes, sorting through the pain. Hopefully it’s not too bad and I can recover and do normal workouts involving my legs soon. I went to the gym today to work out my back and it’s strong enough to keep me stable while doing deadlifts and pendlays so that’s cool.
It’s day seventy two and it’s been a great one at the gym! Combined my leg and chest days because I’ll likely not go to the gym tomorrow. I used to not perform deadlifts because I was afraid that it might worsen my lower back, but lately I’ve been loving them and I’ve not been suffering and negative consequences. Did a sequence of romanian, normal, and sumo deadlifts and I felt great! Also managed to pop out 100 pushups within 3 minutes. If you ask me what’s the exercise I hate the most, I’d tell you it’s the normal push-up, for some reason. I mean I love bench-pressing and doing plyo push-us, but there’s just something about normal push-ups that make me loathe to do them.
